Highway to storm by Aaron Sperschneider

We chased this impressive line of thunderstorms in Nebraska Sandhills. Or rather, we were being chased by the thunderstorm system.

It went over the hills of the Nebraska Sandhills, which offered a great foreground in front of the thunderstorm line. The Sandhills and the highway made the picture perfect, as the sun also set behind the thunderstorm. I was lucky and even got several lightning bolts, you can see the most impressive of them in this image.
