Amazing NLC show in south Germany near Rosenheim
This was definitely the most impressive display of noctilucent clouds I’ve seen so far in my home country. These clouds are located in the mesosphere at altitudes of around 80 to 85 kilometres. They will be illuminated in the dawn by sunlight from below the horizon.
