Storm chasers by county

Nothing happened for a long time that day over rural Nebraska. Just some weak thunderstorms.

Incredible CG lightning strikes near Písek.

Several LP supercells emerged that June evening before a barrage of lightning that lasted more than an hour, striking every 3 seconds.

Dodge City dodged.

In an environment with very good shear conditions some very photogenic LP supercells developed over Thuringia and Saxony, and we were able to intercept one of them at Sangerhausen in the southern Harz region.

The full moon would light up cloud boils which makes the photography particularly bright. This is a panoramic version of two photos.
